Patricia Ann Litersky Kohlman
Director of Operations, Living Souls Association
Patricia Ann Litersky Kohlman brings a wealth of experience, ethical leadership, and heartfelt dedication to her role as Director of Operations for the Living Souls Association. Her career spans public health, donation/fundraising management, and grassroots civic engagement.

She served as Executive Assistant to the Oneida Community Health Director and Director of Nursing, where she supported vital community health initiatives. Later, she joined Encore Music Production, overseeing donation efforts for State Police, County Sheriffs, and City Police Associations. During her seven years with Encore, Patricia ensured that every penny was accounted for — a reflection of her meticulous stewardship and unwavering integrity.

For 15 years, Ms. Kohlman served as a board member for the Sunrise Horse Farm (www.sunrisehorsefarm.org). Sunrise’s purpose is to create a safe, peaceful, and healing environment where broken children, horses, and families can find courage and trust. Through hands-on experiences like grooming, feeding, and caring for horses, children not only learn responsibility but also nurture a deep emotional connection that supports their own journey toward self-discovery and growth. Thus, the spirit of the child and horse are nurtured for the healing process to begin.

Patricia also served as the founding chair of her county’s TEA Party group building it almost 600 members. Ms. Kohlman lead monthly educational forums on complex and often challenging topics. Her ability to organize, inform, and inspire large groups underscores her commitment to transparency and civic responsibility.

Now, as Director of Operations, Patricia takes her appointment with the Living Souls Association deeply to heart. She serves as a vigilant guardian of donor trust, ensuring that all contributions are directed to reputable organizations and charities that genuinely serve the best interests of children. Her mission is clear: to support causes that protect and uplift young lives, while thoroughly vetting partners to make sure they are not connected to abuse or trafficking.

This role is especially meaningful to Patricia as a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her passion is rooted in a lifelong commitment to protecting children and helping them heal. She is devoted to being the watchdog — a steadfast protector of both the association’s values and the vulnerable lives it seeks to transform.
